February 2023 @ SAAN1 Manchester
The above images were taken and documented from a recent art exhibition 'Dreams & Nightmares' i curated at a popular space in Manchester city centre. The event was held on 11th February where i was granted all three floors of the exhibition space and was very successful in providing traffic for the gallery and notoriety and feedback for myself and the featured artist.
These pieces were created to be displayed for sale by an extremely passionate and expressive artist who depicts the struggles, retributions and comeuppance that has been apart of his story to date like so many others who strive to succeed and eventually do but not without experiencing obstacles along the way.
During this exhibition one viewer commented that he 'could feel the passion' which filled the space with enormity as the artist had intended. By setting the scene with the layout and dimly lit spotlights the atmosphere was created to full effect allowing the viewer to experience a snippet of what life's like in another mans shoes, what other's path has provided, how life can be hard but ultimately feelings can be released onto paper to help get you through and share life stories to help you with your own.
